BECOMING A MEMBER

Sverdrup Lutheran Church is a community that is connected both inside and outside the church's four walls.  It is a place that will support you, laugh with you, cry with you. It is a place of acceptance that will help you grow in your Christian faith. We welcome those who wish to become members and share our vision of Christ in the world.

Becoming a member of Sverdrup Lutheran Church is being a part of the family of God, who calls us to live faithfully, witness boldly and serve joyfully. Your desire to grow in your relationship with Jesus will open opportunities for service to God and the whole church family. 

You can start the easy process of joining Sverdrup Lutheran Church by notifying our Pastor, the church office or by sending us the contact card below. Our church practices infant, child or adult baptisms, affirmations of baptism and the rite of communion. If you wish to be a voting member of the congregation; worship attendance as well as receiving communion and participating in giving is needed. If you already belong to a church, we have an easy transfer process and will work with your current church to maintain your information.

Your questions can be answered by our Pastor or a member of our council or office. We WANT to hear from you and welcome you as either a visitor or a full member.
