CHURCH COUNCIL

In 2026, Sverdrup Lutheran Church Full Council regularly meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm. Please note the date change from 2025. The Executive Council meeting dates are pending. Meetings are held at Sverdrup Lutheran Church unless otherwise noted. It is our practice to skip a meeting in July of each year.

Council members are elected at the Annual Meeting held each January and begin their term of service each February. Executive Council consists of the council officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Financial Secretary) as well as the Pastor. Executive officers are elected for a 1-year term.

Council members elected to standing committees (Worship & Stewardship, Life & Fellowship, Property & Management, Education) are elected for a 3-year term. In addition, a youth representative is elected for a 1-year term.
