Sverdrup Lutheran Church Council regularly meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The Executive Council meets from 5:45 to 6:45 pm followed by the full council meeting at 7 pm. Meetings are held at Sverdrup Lutheran Church unless otherwise noted. It is our practice to skip a meeting in July of each year.
Council members are elected at the Annual Meeting held each January and begin their term of service each February. Executive Council consists of the council officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Financial Secretary) as well as the Pastor. Executive officers are elected for a 1-year term.
Council members elected to standing committees (Worship & Stewardship, Life & Fellowship, Property & Management, Education) are elected for a 3-year term. In addition, a youth representative is elected for a 1-year term.
