SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday school is a time for children to learn about God and His teachings and to help them grow in their faith and learn about the Bible.  It's a time for children to learn about Christianity and its history AND a time for children to have fun and make new friends.

At Sverdrup Lutheran Church, whether you are a long-time member or just visiting our church, all youth Preschool - 6th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School from 10:15 - 11:00 am.  If you are a first time attendee, please complete the Sunday School registration form below.

Classes are divided by age and number of students. Sunday School runs concurrent with the school calendar and generally starts the 2nd or 3rd Sunday in September and ends the 2nd or 3rd Sunday in May.

Our youth have a Christmas Program each December and lead a youth song 1-2 times each year. They come together for a full youth large group activity 2-3 Sundays during the year.

Interactive puppet shows are put on a few times each year by our Sunday School youth - a treat for our congregation and guests.

We ask parents/guardians to also complete the photo release form below that allows us to share photos we use to celebrate news in Sunday School and VBS.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Sverdrup Lutheran Church engages in our community in many ways. One outreach program offered is Vacation Bible School for all area children from K- 6th grade during the summer. You need not be a congregation member to participate. Children are led in enriching activities and provided an evening meal, while learning about God and the bible.

Planning is underway for VBS during the summer of 2024 - stay tuned for more information!
