The Offering Plate:

We offer traditional giving methods of giving by using offering plates or designated collection boxes as a part of our worship service. Simply place your check or cash into the plate or box. Checks will be recorded in your giving records for your year-end tax statement. Be sure to put your cash into an envelope with your name for accurate recording.

Automated Bank Deduction:

Recurring, or electronic giving, can be set up directly through your bank by completing our form used by our bank. Please call the office for this form that contains our banking information. Or see our online option immediately below.

Online Giving:

Sverdrup Lutheran Church offers the convenience of online donating, allowing you to give anytime, anywhere. Our online platform supports ACH transfers (an automated method of moving funds between bank accounts) as well as debit/credit card transactions. Click HERE to sign up for your secure account to easily manage your giving.
In addition, we now offer access to a mobile app for providing access to online giving. As in using the online platform, you can establish your own secure account or conduct transactions as a "guest". Just use the QR code published in your Sunday bulletin or from one of the information flyers posted in church.

In-Kind Giving:

You may also consider a non-monetary gift of goods, services, or assets instead of cash. Click HERE to print out the "In-Kind" Donation Form and return to either the Office or the Financial Secretary. Your donation will be recorded in your giving records for year-end tax statements.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD):

Eligible IRAs may be another source for your donation. Contact your financial advisor on finding out if you qualify for using this pre-tax giving option. Gifts are sent directly to the church either by check or by bank transfer.

Volunteer:

There are many opportunities to volunteer your time and talents at Sverdrup Lutheran Church. Whether you enjoy mentoring youth, singing in a choir, playing in a band, building for Habitat for Humanity, sewing quilts, providing treats at fellowship coffee, ushering or teaching Sunday School, there is a place for you at Sverdrup Lutheran Church. Volunteers of all ages and all levels of skill are welcomed. We encourage our members to access routine signup for worship service, communion and projection via our "Participation Sign Up Portal" on our members page.
